The location at Bay Valley Resort offers a beautiful view of the golf course, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The pool area impressed me. it was well-kept and very inviting. The staff really worked hard despite being short-staffed, ensuring I felt comfortable during my stay. My room, a King Room, was clean and fit my needs perfectly. However, some amenities were lacking. It would have been helpful to have a microwave in the room for convenience. While brunch was new and smelled delightful, it lacked options and wasn’t really a full breakfast. I faced some issues with the front desk being unattended at times, especially during the evening, which made certain requests more challenging. I also found the lounge area quite drab and in need of updates. A little more attention to clarity of service, like having breakfast details readily available at check-in, would have improved the experience significantly.

The check-in experience was a bit chaotic with only one person at the front desk, but he handled it all admirably. The pool area was definitely a highlight, providing a fresh and relaxing break. I particularly enjoyed the vintage charm of the hotel, which added character to our stay. Being a short drive from attractions like the Delta College Planetarium was a nice bonus. While there were a few cleanliness issues in the room, the overall ambiance made for a pleasant visit.

Quiet and relaxing, the pool was amazing. staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. You can enjoy great food, live music, and even golf—all on-site!

Sadly, my experience was marred by an old, outdated decor in common areas, and the Wi-Fi wasn't available in our section, which was frustrating.

My stay was memorable for both good and bad reasons. The friendly staff at checkout maintained composure despite chaotic situations. The heated indoor/outdoor pool was fantastic for my family. Sadly, breakfast lacked variety and autonomy. Ultimately, this spot shows promise but needs some serious TLC to fully shine.

Just a great fit for a weekend jaunt in Bay City with value for money. The staff were accommodating when I needed extra towels. Make sure to check for hot water before you settle in.
